Altura Avenue in La Crescenta, a Crescenta Valley High School juvenile was arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery after he tried to rob an 11-year-old student walking down the street. The suspect allegedly was sitting in a vehicle parked at the location, called the student over to his car and threatened to rob him, brandishing a knife. The student ran to his home and called 911; the CV Sheriff’s Station responded and arrested the suspect; 2800 block after school on June 13.

Community Avenue in La Crescenta, a 16-year-old high school student was arrested on suspicion of possession of a narcotic and narcotic to sell on the Crescenta Valley High School campus; 2900 block at 3 p.m. on June 13.

Mira Vista Avenue in Montrose, a man reported that two male suspects were standing outside his unlocked vehicle and a third male was inside it. They fled. Nothing was stolen; 2300 block at 9 p.m. on June 5.

Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, an Ralphs Market employee reported that a man placed several food items in a shopping cart and walked out of the store without attempting to pay. The man was followed into the parking lot where an employee asked him to return the items. He refused, placed them in his vehicle and drove away eastbound on Foothill Boulevard at 10:45 a.m. on June 4.
