RUBEN — BROOKS

Jaimi B. Ruben and Mathew Brooks, both of Brentwood, have announced their engagement.

Jaimi is the daughter of Jeannie Miles of Palm Springs.

The bride-to-be graduated from La Crescenta High School in 1999. She earned a degree in psychology at UCLA and a masters in marriage, family and child counseling at Pepperdine University. She is the owner of Fiore Bridal Nails and Mobile Beauty services in the greater Los Angeles area.

Mathew is the son of Gary and Julia Brooks of Redmond, Wash.

The groom-elect studied at Washington State University and the University of Arizona. He is employed by Microsoft as a strategic engagement manager.
