Second annual Putting Tournament

The Crescenta Valley High baseball team will conduct its second annual Putting Tournament at the Greens. The event will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. Oct. 26 at The Greens in Valencia.

The adult-only event will consist of a putting tournament, buffet dinner, prizes, contests, silent auction, raffles and more.

Annual Rosemont Golf Tournament

The seventh annual Rosemont Golf Tournament will be held Saturday at Verdugo Hills Golf Course.

The cost is $50 for adults and $40 for students. The costs includes golf, lunch, door prizes closest-to-the-pin and long drive prizes.

Proceeds support the American Freedom Tour, Rosemont’s historic field trip to the “Heartland of America.”

Sixth annual Falcon Golf Classic set

The sixth annual Falcon Golf Classic will be held Oct. 17 at Angeles National Golf Club, 9401 Foothill Blvd., Sunland.

The cost is $175 per person and includes green fees and cart, raffle tickets, range balls, lunch, dinner and more.

Proceeds support the Crescenta Valley Highboys’ basketball program. Sponsorship packages are available.

To get in youth sports results, whether it’s soccer, football, baseball, basketball, etc., please drop off or e-mail results by 2 p.m. Mondays.

The Glendale News-Press encourages any and all teams to turn in their results weekly.
