Teaching staff are superheroes

Valley View Elementary School teaching staff and Principal Carla Walker received a surprise during last Friday morning’s student assembly.

Walker and the teachers were awarded “super hero” capes for thier work in helping the PTA, which recently was honored by Glendale School District for the PTA’s 100% membership.

This is the second-year the Valley View’s PTA has earned first-place in the district for membership, said Molly Hwang, Valley View’s PTA president.
