BRIEFLY IN PUBLIC SAFETY

Two teens’ hearing is rescheduled

A preliminary hearing was rescheduled Friday to Nov. 7 for two 18-year-old Glendale men who are accused of stabbing three men during a robbery attempt.

Arman Yeghyan and Edgar Isaian pleaded not guilty Aug. 11 to three counts of attempted murder as well as one count of robbery and first-degree burglary.

Yeghyan is being held on $3.5-million bail, and Isaian is being held on $3.15-million bail.

Yeghyan reportedly entered a house on the 400 block of West Stocker Street just after 3 p.m. Aug. 7 and was confronted by the three men.

The confrontation turned into a fight, and Yeghyan stabbed the three men with a knife, police said. Police discovered Isaian was also involved in the incident, but he fled before officers went to the house, police said.
