Woman, 45, is missing, police say

Police are searching for a 45-year-old woman who has been missing since Saturday evening after she was seen leaving her home to possibly go out with friends.

Khatoun “Kathy” Khajehtourian’s husband last saw her about 4 p.m. leaving their home in the 2900 block of Fairway Avenue in her black 1998 Honda Accord, police said. It was thought she was visiting with friends.

But no one has heard or seen Khajehtourian since she left.

She reportedly suffers from depression, stemming from the recent death of her parents.

Khajehtourian, of Glendale, was last seen wearing a yellow dress. She is described as 167 pounds, 5-foot-4 and has brown eyes and black hair
