La Crescenta Babe Ruth registration

Registration for the 2009 La Crescenta Babe Ruth season will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Glendale Sports Complex, 2200 Fern Lane, Glendale.

The baseball program is geared for those ages 13-15.

Applications will also be accepted at tryout sessions from 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 17 at the Glendale Sports Complex Field No. 1 and 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 24 at Scholl Canyon Park Field No. 1 in Glendale.

Baseball/softball registration set

Registration for the upcoming Crescenta Sports Assn. baseball and softball seasons will take place.

Registration will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Glendale Sports Complex, 2200 Fern Lane, Glendale.

Player evaluations and tryouts will also be conducted Jan. 24 and Jan. 31.

Little League registration set

Registration for Jewel City-Jewish War Veterans Little League baseball and softball will be held.

Those ages 5-16 can enroll in T-ball, baseball, softball and challenger.

Sign-ups will occur from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Brand Park.

They will also be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 17 at Brand Park in Glendale and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 24 at Babe Herman Field in Glendale.

Tryouts will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 17 at Brand Park and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 24 at Babe Herman Field.

Tryouts are geared for those ages 9-15 in baseball and softball.

Checks can be made payable to Jewel City-Jewish War Veterans Little League.

A birth certificate and a copy of it must be presented.

Proof of address (driver’s license, utility bill, etc.) and personal insurance information will be required.
