Local items are on supervisors’ agenda

Both the final vote for the Community Standards District affecting the unincorporated portion of the county in the foothills and the appeal for the Glenada apartment project will be heard by the L.A. County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, Feb. 24. The public meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. and will take place at the Hall of Administration, 500 W. Temple St. in room 381B. The Crescenta Valley Community Association will give an overview of these issues at its next meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. at Dunsmore Park.

Design meeting item postponed

The agenda item regarding development of the existing site of Foothill Builders in the 3500 block of Foothill Boulevard has been moved to the Feb. 12 meeting of the Glendale Design Review Board #2. For those wishing to attend the meeting, it begins at 5 p.m. in room 105.

The agenda for the meeting will be posted on the city’s website, https://www.ci.glendale.ca.us/agenda.asp, approximately a week prior to the meeting.

CV Chamber holding luncheon

The Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce is still accepting reservations for its 84th Installation of Officers and Directors on Tuesday, Jan. 13 at La Cañada Flintridge Country Club. The event includes lunch and silent auction.

Doors open at 11 a.m.; luncheon is at 11:30 a.m.
