Memorial Day a day to remember our nation’s armed services personnel killed in wartime. The U.S. Congress declared Memorial Day a national holiday in 1971 at which time they changed the date of commemoration to the last Monday in May. Take a moment to remember our fallen heroes and thank them for the lives we can lead because of their sacrifices.

The Chamber and the Montrose Shopping Park would like to invite you to attend a special presentation right here in town. Please join us on Monday from 8 until 9 a.m. at the Vietnam War Memorial located on the corner of Ocean View Boulevard and Honolulu Avenue.

The Chamber enjoyed a special mixer held at the Crescenta Valley Water District to kick off Water Awareness Day held last Saturday, May 16. We all have to learn how to conserve our water and do our part.
