Police captain to discuss division

Glendale Police Capt. Kirk Palmer is scheduled to appear live on Vrej Agajanian’s TV show Wednesday on Channel 284. Palmer will discuss the purpose of the Administrative Services Division, which he oversees, and how it functions within the department.

Paper, rangers topics of meeting

Changes for the local newspaper and the city park ranger program are topics for the Crescenta Valley Community Assn. meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Dunsmore Community Room at Dunsmore Park, 4700 Dunsmore Ave., La Crescenta. Speakers are Dan Evans, director of editorial for the Glendale News-Press, who will talk about expanding coverage of Crescenta Valley and Montrose, and a representative from Glendale Parks, Recreation and Community Services, who will explain the changes to the Glendale Park Ranger program.
