SOFTBALL

Over the July 18-19 season, the Crescenta Sports Assn. (CSA) 12-and-under softball team concluded its tournament season with an undefeated run to victory in the MidValley “Sizzling Summer” tournament. The team played a total of 18 tournament games during the summer.

The team consists of Shannon Ritter, Jessica Madeira, Katie Taix, Kayla Oliver, Sydnee Wells, Alex Nolan, Claire O’Conner, Karina Moreno, Chloe Fairbrother and coaches Vince Taix, Dave Fox, Shon Wells and Dennis Saboe.

BASEBALL

?The CSA 12-and-under baseball team has won four of its last five tournaments this summer, as it owns a 25-6 record and is headed toCooperstown, NY, to play in a week-long tournament beginning Aug. 8 and to be inducted into the American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame.

The team won the Bronco Sectional championship earlier in July in Rosemead. It moved on to the Regional tournament in Walnut and fell short of advancing by one run.

The team consists of Kyle Currie, Jimmy Smiley, Chase Walker, Thulani Kachingwe, Jeremiah Martin, Brett Klein, Cole Rademacher, Mike Misetich, Riley Miller, Brian Gadsby, Cameron Briggs, Connor Van Ginkel and Weston Walker.
