BOYS’ WATER POLO

Crescenta Valley in Conejo Valley Classic: The Falcons went 2-3 to place eighth out of 32 teams in the Thousand Oaks tournament on Friday and Saturday.

Junior goalkeeper Rane Colvin finished the tournament with 74 saves and 9 steals and was selected for the All Tournament team.

Crescenta Valley posted wins over Paso Robles, 12-2, and Newbury Park, 8-5, but lost to El Modena, 14-6, Oaks Christian, 7-6, and Thousand Oaks, 7-5.

Flintridge Prep 10, Bell Gardens 9: Jeffrey Tobias led the Rebels with four goals in their nonleague season opener on Friday.

Garrett Wax had three goals and Christopher Chu tallied two.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 3, Gahr 0: Alyssa Walton and Mary Schroeder paced the Tologs (1-0) with 11 kills apiece in a 25-11, 25-9, 25-23 win in the opening round of the Gahr Tournament on Friday.

Alessandra Orlandini had 23 assists and Camille Coffey led the team in digs with 11.
