Disney Interactive Studios has agreed to acquire Wideload Games Inc., a Chicago-based producer and developer of interactive entertainment, according to an announcement released this week.
As part of the agreement, industry veteranAlexander Seropian, Wideload Games founder and chief executive, will join Disney Interactive Studios in the newly created role of vice president of creative.
Seropian, who is relocating to Glendale, is renowned as the founder of Bungie Software and was among the creators of the highly successful Halo series.
Lease renewed on locally owned land
Healthcare provider Kaiser Permanente has renewed its lease on 206,600 square feet in three office buildings at Piedmont Center in Atlanta.
The property is owned by Glendale-based American Realty Advisors, according to a company statement.
Kaiser Permanente has been a tenant at Piedmont Center since 1993 and will continue to occupy the business park’s Nine, Ten and Eleven buildings.
