Esther R. Krueger

Esther R. Krueger, age 100, of Burbank, CA died September 15, 2010 at Mary Health of the Sick in Newbury Park.

Esther was born October 2, 1909, in the town of Rockland, Manitowoc County, WI, daughter of the late Carl and Emma (Becker) Krueger. She went to Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago to learn to care for babies. She worked in various homes for twenty-three years. This work took her from Chicago to New York then Los Angeles. After this, she worked at Occidental Life Insurance for eighteen years.

She is survived by two nieces and eight nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard, Herbert and Milan; five sisters, Lydia Habermann, Amanda Kindschy, Adelia Habermann, Hilda Fischer and Anita Rusch; also six nephews.

Burial will be at Zion Evergreen Cemetery, Reedsville, WI.
