Why are you running for school board?

I believe the board needs new leadership in the midst of the many challenges the district faces. The status quo is not good enough — we must do better. As a parent and businessman, I believe I’m the best candidate to lead the district forward.

What does the district need to improve on?

We need to improve communication with all stakeholders, keep class sizes low, close the achievement gap, and expand career/technical education opportunities.

What is your stance on Measure S, and why?

I fully support Measure S. This is an investment in our children’s and grandchildren’s future. These funds will improve classrooms and technology to support our teachers and prepare our students to compete in the global economy.
