Wilma Roberts
Wilma Roberts, 91, also known as Willia Mae, peacefully passed away on June 2, 2011. She was born in 1919 in Kentucky where she grew up in a large family with 3 sisters and a brother. She resided in Burbank since 1959. She was loved by her husband, Charlie, and her sons Charles Roberts Jr., Jim Gosnell and daughter-in-law Ray Gosnell. Wilma had a long career in bookkeeping and accounting with a number of companies both in Louisville and Los Angeles finally working with Bob’s Big Boy and later Marriott in Glendale where she retired. Wilma was an avid Angel baseball fan, loved her garden, liked to travel and enjoyed her many friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, her youngest son, Charles and all of her siblings. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills at 12:30 on June 15th.
