Byron Lawrence Weston, III

Services for Byron Lawrence Weston, III, who passed away on June 1, will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel of Sun Valley, 10335 La Tuna Canyon Road, Sun Valley, 91352. Born in Glendale in 1990, Byron grew up in the Tujunga-Sun Valley area, residing in recent years in La Canada. He attended Village Christian School, then Verdugo Hills High and L.A. Mission College. A creative, intelligent, and fun-loving young man, he enjoyed music, meeting other young people and being where anything exciting was taking place. Among his many talents, he was gifted at working on computers but instead chose to explore avenues of employment which included plumbing and other contract work, retail, postal shipping, and occasional stints as a TV and movie extra. With a clever wit, engaging charm and restless spirit, he spoke of many ideas he had for a lucrative future.

Byron was very well liked by his friends, and much loved by his family. He leaves behind his parents, Byron L. Weston, Jr. and Monica Weston; brother Phillip; grandmother Cecelia Weston of La Canada; half-brothers and families of Hector Rascon and Eddie Rascon; maternal aunts Maggie, Amy, Yvonne, Yvette, Arcie, Cindy, Catherine and Elena, as well as maternal uncles Manuel and Mark of Los Angeles; paternal aunts Elizabeth Weston of La Canada and Meredith Weston of Reno; cousins Connie Panzarello of La Canada, Clayton and Holly (Weston) Stinson of Reno; grand uncles Marvin Weston of La Verne and Ken Weston of Everett, WA; and numerous extended family members and friends who benefitted from Byron being a part of their lives.
