Irma Maisel

Irma Maisel, a Burbank resident since 1966, passed away at home August 1, 2011. She was born June 27, 1924 in Huttington, Germany, near Cologne. In 1930, the family migrated to the USA and settled in Chicago. Irma was an accomplished swimmer, and led her high school’s aquatic ballet. She was also a tomboy that some very wrongly predicted would never grow up to be a lady. She has volunteered at St. Finbar and was an active member of the Keystone and St. Charles Senior Clubs.

Irma is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Raymond; daughter, Janet; and blessed with two grandchildren.

Please join us to remember Irma with a visitation held on Monday, August 8th, 2011, at Valley Funeral Home, 2121 Burbank Blvd., Burbank, 4:00pm to 8:30pm, with the Rosary at 7pm. Funeral mass, Tuesday, August 9, 2011, 11am at St. Finbar Catholic Church, Burbank. With internment to follow at the Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery, 10621 Victory Blvd. North Hollywood.
