The so-called “Tri-Cities bandit” may have struck again, this time at a Bank of the West in Pasadena on Wednesday afternoon.

The Bank of the West branch on the 2500 block of East Colorado Boulevard was robbed Wednesday at about 3:30 p.m., Pasadena Police Lt. Tracey Ibarra said.

The suspect, described as a male Latino, entered the bank and handed over a demand note. He got away with an undisclosed amount of money, Ibarra said.

FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said Wednesday’s incident may be linked to robberies in Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena this summer.

“We are linking it to the same individual,” Eimiller said.

Ibarra said Pasadena police are awaiting surveillance images from the FBI to see if they match the photos of the suspected Tri-Cities Bandit.
