Charles A. Lombardo, 57 of Burbank, California, died August 14, 2011.

He was born October 28, 1953 in Buffalo, New York the son of late Salvatore and Donna Lombardo. He was the second of four siblings. He was married from 1982-1987 to Susan Fabrizio.

He served in the U.S. Army as a food services specialist in the 1970’s. After his discharge, he attended Kansas State University and graduated from University of Buffalo. Upon graduation, he moved to Los Angeles, California where he pursued a career in finance with corporations such as First Interstate Bank and General Electric. He was Vice President of New Accounts for Boston Private Bank at the time of his death. In addition to finance, Mr. Lombardo served as a member of the Bob Hope Airport Authority since 1998 and was appointed President in 2003. He also served as Vice Chair of the Leadership Commissioners Committee of Airports council International.

He is survived by his two sons, Salvatore and Anthony as well as a sister and two brothers, Donna (Paul) Budniewski, Mark (Robin) Lombardo and Mike (Sandy) Lombardo of Buffalo, New York. He was also a lifelong fan of the Buffalo Bills, having made trips to all four of their Super Bowl appearances in the 1990’s.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Valley Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 from 11 a.m.- 1:00 pm at valley funeral Home. 2121 West Burbank Blvd. Burbank, CA 91506
