Burbank-based Emerald Nights Comics and Games this week announced two more upcoming events in September celebrating the relaunch of 52 classic characters.

DC Comics is reintroducing revamped versions of the 52 titles, from the well-known “Wonder Woman” and “Batman,” to more obscure characters, such as “Blue Beetle.” The “New 52” launch is scheduled for Wednesday.

The comic-book publisher, which has offices in Burbank, refreshed the titles as a way to revive its business and attract new readers, including with new storylines and costumes.

Emerald Nights will host a Q&A with Adam Glass, writer for “Suicide Squad,” and J.T. Krul, writer for “Green Arrow” and “Captain Atom,” at noon on Sept. 18. The store is located at 4116 W. Burbank Blvd.

On Sept. 25, the store will host a Q&A with “Supergirl” writer Mike Johnson; Kyle Higgins, writer for “Deathstroke” and “Nightwing;” “Mr. Terrific” writer Eric Wallace; Sterling Gates of “Hawk & Dove;” and Nathan Edmondson, writer for “Grifter.” The event also starts at noon.
