Somehow, someone on the web has declared today, September 19, as International Talk Like a Pirate Day.

The wacky concept has apparently caught on, however. There’s a global map on their website showing who and where is participating in Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Feel free to bust out a ‘argh’ or ‘matey’ at work or home today, because the other 364 days of the year you can’t use the excuse that it’s International Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Hilary Duff is serious about selling her Toluca Lake home, Curbed LA reported. The actress has dropped the price, which now sits at $6.25 million. In 2003, Duff paid $3.5 million for the residence, and has listed it every now and then but with no luck, according to the blog. As recently as last year she listed it at $7 million.
