City launches website warning about dangers of distracted driving

Share

The city has launched today a new website aimed at educating the public about the dangers of distracted driving.

The website provides motorists, pedestrians and educators with tips on navigating Glendale roadways.

City officials also plan to roll out two education campaigns “Driven 2 Distraction” and “Look 2 Live” to reduce the number of pedestrian-involved collisions in Glendale.

The “Driven 2 Distraction” campaign will focus on motorists and remind them that inattentive driving could lead to deadly collisions.

“Look 2 Live” will concentrate on providing safety tip to pedestrians.
