MARJORIE LOIS LODWICK

Marjorie Lodwick passed away on October 2, 2011. She was born in Pasadena, California on July 25, 1919 to Carl and Lois Jackson. Upon the completion of building their home, Marjorie married Gordon Lodwick in 1940. While raising their three daughters she worked as a bookkeeper for the family business. She and her husband were avid dancers participating in square dancing, round dancing and ball room dancing. After raising their family in Los Angeles, they moved to Glendale in 1965.

She leaves a large and wonderful family; her husband Gordon of 71 years, her three daughters Marguerite Pitchford of Roseburg, OR, her husband Albert, Dona Millward of Texarkana, AR and Marianne Jennings, her husband “Skip” of Glendale, CA, five grandsons, three granddaughters, seven great grandsons, eight great granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Jeanne Pelsey.

Marjorie was a member of The Women’s Athletic Club of Glendale for over 20 years where she enjoyed swimming, bowling and modeling.
