Jack Frederick

Jack passed away Friday, November 11, 2011 at his family home in Glendale.

Jack was born July 7, 2010 at Kaiser Hospital in Hollywood and shared his birth date with his maternal great-grandma, Mildred McFelea of Laguna Woods.

Jack always had a smile on his face. He spent each day bringing joy to his family and friends in his neighborhood. Jack especially loved giraffes and elephants and visiting all kinds of critters at the Los Angeles Zoo. He could be seen every day on his “mail cart” walks around his neighborhood, and also on his Mom’s daily trips to the Ralph’s grocery store on N. Central. He never met a toy or book he did not like, and he especially loved “Green Eggs and Ham.” Jack also enjoyed cartoons on Nick Jr, with “Franklin” and “Yo Gabba Gabba” being his favorites.

Jack is survived by his loving parents Alex and Kathleen Frederick of Glendale; maternal grandparents; Don and Audrey McFelea of Glendale; paternal grandparents, Tom and Kathy Frederick of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; an extended loving family and his best buddy, Charlie the cat.

Jack was laid to rest at Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills on November 16.
