Man broke into Glendale woman’s home and straddled her, police say

Police are looking for a man who broke into a Glendale woman’s home on Friday and straddled her as she slept, officials said.

The man, who hasn’t been identified, entered the woman’s apartment about 6:05 a.m. through an unlocked balcony door on the 500 block of Glenwood Road, according to the Glendale Police Department.

When the woman awoke, she was able to scare him away.

He was described as 20 to 25 years old with olive-colored skin, about 5 foot 9 inches tall, 160 pounds, with black or dark brown eyes and black eyebrows, according to police.

The man was wearing a black beanie and a black scarf covering the lower portion of his face.
