Patricia B. Adams, Sr.

Patricia B. Adams, Sr. passed away on January 24th at the age of 85.The daughter of Dora and Michael Halpin, she was born in Springfield, Illinois, and moved to Glendale in 1944 where she lived until her death. Pat worked since the age of fourteen and retired from Baxter Healthcare in 1992. Volunteer work was Pat’s passion. She served as a volunteer for the American Red Cross Glendale Chapter for forty years, working at the V.A. Hospital in Westwood, on the disaster response team, and in various convalescent hospitals. She was a member of the Glendale Police RSVP program for six years. Most recently, she volunteered in the Glendale Library’s Book Nook for four years. Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ed. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia B. Adams, Jr. (Diamond Bar), son, Paul E. Adams (Burbank), three grandchildren, Thomas, Tyler, and Olivia Adams-Falconer, and her sister, Phyllis Halpin (Hermosa Beach). Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 4th at 2:30 in the Little Church of the Flowers at Forest Lawn, Glendale. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Red Cross would be appreciated.
