Burbank seeks applicants for bevy of vacant commission seats

Burbank is looking for a few good men and women to fill a wide variety of vacancies on the city’s commissions that oversee everything from art in public spaces to traffic issues.

The city clerk’s office this week announced that it is accepting applications from Burbank residents to serve on the commissions. The deadline to apply is April 30, with the City Council scheduled to make the appointments at a meeting on May 22.

All of the positions are unpaid and commissioners must submit annual Statements of Economic Interests, per state rules.

Applications can be downloaded from the city’s website, or filled out in person at the city clerk’s office at City Hall, 275 East Olive Ave.

All terms begin June 1, 2012.
