Police ID ‘person of interest’ in vandalism of Burbank councilman’s business

Burbank police say they have identified a person of interest in their invesitgation into who threw a brick through the window of Councilman David Gordon’s optometry business.

Police officials are working with the city attorney’s office to determine a possible misdemeanor charge of vandalism for the person who allegedly threw the brick on March 16 in the 800 block of Hollywood Way, Sgt. Darin Ryburn said today.

Police would not release any details about the identity of the person, citing the ongoing investigation.

Ryburn would not discuss a possible motive or how the person was identified.
