Gatto gets a new district director

Assemblyman Mike Gatto (D-Silver Lake) has a new district director — Jason Insalaco, a licensed attorney and real estate broker.

Insalaco grew up in Glendale and Burbank, attending St. Francis Xavier School in Burbank and Holy Redeemer School in Montrose. He currently lives in Burbank.

He has been in the media industry for 20 years, working in programming and management for CBS Television, Clear Channel Communications and CBS Radio, where he worked for 11 years.

A graduate of the Loyola Law School, Insalaco has also operated his own content and talent management company, The Kelton Agency.

He has served on the Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council and is a member of the Los Angeles Crisis Response Team.

Gatto’s former district director, Stacey Brenner, returned to the campaign team, where she worked before he was elected. After the June 5 primary, Gatto said he expects she will begin helping on the reelection campaign of Congressman Brad Sherman, who is her cousin.

Gatto’s communication director, Pamela Davis, recently took a position with an area prostate cancer charity, he said.
