Glendale police: Suspects attempt theft of headphones

A group assaulted a man outside a 7-Eleven store Saturday in attempt to steal his headphones and iPad, officials said.

A Good Samaritan intervened and stopped the group about 8:30 a.m. from attacking and robbing the man outside the convenience store on the 500 block of West Colorado Street, according to Glendale police.

Witnesses told police the one of the suspects was reportedly used his skateboard as a weapon.

No one was arrested in connection with the robbery.
