A 19-year-old man was arrested early Wednesday on suspicion of masturbating in front of a woman seated inside her parked car after an officer recognized him, police said.

The officer stopped Mauricio Rivera about 2:37 a.m. during a patrol of the neighborhood around Lexington Drive and Adams Street for the man who had exposed his genitals to the woman early Tuesday, Glendale police said.

According to the officer, Rivera, who was walking in the neighborhood with his pants undone, matched the man’s description.

The woman told police the man reportedly stopped in the middle of Lexington Drive, near Piedmont Avenue, and masturbated while he stared at her. She drove away and later returned to find he had fled the area.

Rivera reportedly confessed to exposing himself to the woman, according to police. He was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure, police said.
