GCC president finalists will speak in public forum Thursday

A public forum featuring the four finalists applying to become the next Supt./President of Glendale Community College will be held from 1:30 to 5:15 p.m. Thursday in the auditorium at the college, 1500 N. Verdugo Road.

Rajen Vurdien, president of Fullerton College, will participate in the forum from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m.

Pam Eddinger, president of Moorpark College, will speak from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m.

David Viar, president of American River College, will speak from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m.

Farley Herzek, interim president of East Los Angeles College, will participate from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m.

College officials confirmed this week that a fifth candidate, Kevin Walthers, has withdrawn from the search.

Officials anticipate that the college’s next Supt./President would take the helm of the college by July 1.
