Police investigate trash-bag fire

Investigators are looking into a trash fire which appeared to be set in the garage of an apartment building on Saturday.

The fire was reported about 4:55 p.m. in a parking space in the building’s garage in the 500 block of Belmont Street, according to Glendale police.

Police say it appeared someone set a bag of trash on fire.

Officers searched for witnesses, but were unable to find anyone.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
