Firefighters quickly knock down house fire
Glendale firefighters quickly extinguished a house fire in the 3400 block of Honolulu Avenue Monday, knocking down the blaze 17 minutes after units were dispatched.
The fire appeared to begin on a fence, but it extended into the attic of the house, according to fire officials.
Structural damage is estimated at $50,000, with $5,000 damage to contents.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation, fire officials said.
