An 18-year-old motorist was allegedly speeding Monday night when he crashed into the side of a building on Glenoaks Boulevard, police said.

The driver, whose name wasn’t released, was driving at high rate of speed south on Highland Avenue at about 10:15 p.m. Monday, when he lost control of his car and crashed into the building in the 800 block of West Glenoaks Boulevard, according to Glendale Police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot.

Damage to the building was limited to broken windows.

The driver and his 15-year-old passenger did not suffer any injuries, she said.

The driver was not cited at the scene of the crash, Lightfoot added.
