Editor’s Note: Upcoming changes to the News-Press

Beginning Feb. 12, the Glendale News-Press will be available with the Los Angeles Times in news racks, at retail outlets, and, as before, through home delivery from Wednesdays to Saturdays. It will also continue to be available separately at select retail locations throughout town.

The current Saturday and Sunday editions will be combined into a single Weekend edition, featuring expanded arts and entertainment coverage in the award-winning Marquee section, beginning Feb. 15. However, please note that our stand-alone news racks are being discontinued.

In addition, on Feb. 13, we will begin publishing a weekly Thursday edition of the News-Press for readers in Montrose and La Crescenta. Our goal is to acknowledge the unique and special nature of the Foothill communities, and answer a call by many readers to focus more of our energy in those neighborhoods.

We take pride in being your most comprehensive, accurate and trusted news source, and these changes are designed to pair the local coverage you trust with The Times’ definitive regional, state and world reports.
