Tip-A-Cop fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics

Share

Police will be serving up lunch to patrons who visit California Pizza Kitchen today in an effort to raise funds for a local Special Olympics chapter.

Patrons who want to participate in the annual Tip-A-Cop fundraiser must present a flier between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the restaurant, 101 N. Brand Blvd.

The restaurant will donate 20% of every order to the Special Olympics Tri-Valley region, which provides a year-round sports program — which includes basketball, aquatics and track and field — for athletes in Glendale, Burbank, Agoura, Calabasas and other communities.

Police raised $1,700 at a similar event last year at the restaurant.

To receive a copy of the flier and participate in the fundraiser, visit www.sosc.org.
