Market doesn’t fit with town’s image

I was very unpleasantly surprised on Saturday morning when I drove down Briggs to see the Crafts and Collectibles Market setting up. It looked like someone’s poorly organized flea market — quite an eyesore in an area that has been polishing its image of late.

My teenage son’s comment was, “Is this a garage sale?”

Definitely not the kind of image that I think La Crescenta has been trying to project. Either this needs to be drastically improved or discontinued permanently.
