Thoughts on writing outside the box

The loss of Gary Huerta’s column on Fridays is right up there with the loss of Dan Kimber’s column. Apparently the editor of the News-Press does not care for writers who write about issues that stir up people a bit. When Kimber and Huerta were writing, there were at least interesting things written about, whether or not you agreed with them. People did sit up and take notice. Obviously it does not pay to write outside of the box when writing for the News-Press. How sad.
