Griem’s answer was spiteful, thuggish

Share

I was saddened to read the Rev. Bryan Griem’s views on homosexuality in Sunday’s “In Theory” question, “Will society come to accept homosexuality?” I’m usually not surprised to read his thinly veiled attacks against those he doesn’t agree with, but this was rather more spiteful and thuggish.

Saying “Humans who endorse homosexuality do not truly love their fellow man … “ and comparing it to prostitution and pedophilia is really going too far.

I happen to believe homosexuality is a difference in genetics, not a “perversion, harmful to mankind.” Thank goodness for the Revs. Paige Eaves and Amy Pringle, who gave such thoughtful, loving responses. They certainly restored my faith in humankind!
