Thinking about Najarian’s stance

I am addressing the letter you published March 16 from Sharon Weisman where she states that she is supporting Ara Najarian who “has been steadfast in opposition to the 710 tunnel.”

I believe I read that Najarian was pressured by Alhambra and other cities to soften his stance on the 710 project because it would jeopardize his position with the Glendale Housing Authority. Didn’t he also make a comment some time ago about not wanting Glendale to look like East L.A. due to sign pollution?
