James Ellroy’s GCC visit was an insult

The well-known author James Ellroy came to the Glendale Community College campus on May 9 to talk about his books. He started his speech with swear words. A famous writer and a role model for so many shouldn’t be inappropriate and insulting.

Why did GCC pay a writer to insult students when the money could have been used to have more classes this summer?
