Schools should be protected by guards

Where are the school resource officers? Why are we not funding to have more school resource officers, or at least certified armed guards, patrol our public schools? There is little to no police presence on or off campus and that worries me. I think more parents should be worried as well. An armed officer on campus can quickly respond to sounds of gunfire, or maybe even witness it, and neutralize a shooter much faster than having to rely on someone calling 911, telling the dispatcher what's going on, then waiting on police to arrive.

If they're going to cram all those children in the schools then they should be obligated to protect them. Instead, they are packed in there with a bunch of unarmed and helpless adults left to the mercy of one crazy person, thanks to a bunch of paper-pushing politicians who are protected by armed guards payed for by your tax dollars.
