Redondo Union 18, Hoover 12: Hoover had its season end Tuesday in a CIF Southern Section Division III first-round home loss at Burbank High.

The Tornadoes (15-10) entered the playoffs fresh off winning their second straight Pacific League championship and third in the last four seasons.

Hoover got four goals apiece from Hayk Nazaryan and Hakop Ansuryan.

Redondo Union (22-6) received an at-large berth after finishing third in the Bay League.

Yorba Linda 12, Flintridge Prep 10: Flintridge Prep lost Tuesday in a CIF Southern Section Division IV first-round road match.

The Rebels(14-10, third place in the Prep League) received a team-high four goals from Hakop Kaplanyan and two from Noah Corral.

Yorba Linda (23-6) took second in the Crestview League.

Pacifica Garden Grove 21, Glendale 7: Visiting Glendale saw its season come to a close Tuesday in a CIF Southern Section Division IV first-round match at Garden Grove High.

Rudolf Hovhannisyan had three goals for the Nitros, who got two from Arno Tatos.

Glendale (15-13) finished third in the Pacific League.

Garden Grove (27-1) won the Empire League championship.

College of the Canyons 4, Glendale Community College 1: Visiting Glendale suffered a Western State Conference South Division defeat Tuesday.

Andrew Senane tallied a second-half goal for the Vaqueros (10-7-3, 2-2-2 in the division).

Antelope Valley College 2, Glendale Community College 1: Glendale lost a Western State Conference South Division home match Friday.

Wilmer Bonilla scored a goal for the Vaqueros.

WOMEN’S SOCCER

Antelope Valley College 8, Glendale Community College 0: The Vaqueros fell Tuesday in a Western State Conference South Division road match.

Glendale is 5-13-1, 1-9-1 in the division.

L.A. Valley College 2, Glendale Community College 1: Glendale dropped a Western State Conference South Division home match Friday.

Adriana Sarukhyan scored a goal for Glendale.

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL

College of the Canyons d. Glendale Community College, 25-9, 25-17, 25-20: The visiting Vaqueros fell Friday in a Western State Conference South Division match.

Glendale dipped to 8-12, 5-6 in the division.
