Rebels get balanced scoring in big win

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Flintridge Prep 103, Covina 54: Kenyatta Smith led five Rebel starters in double-figure scoring with 23 points and added 15 rebounds and five blocks in a win on Saturday in the Southern California Shootout at Azusa Pacific University. Kory Hamane scored 21 points for Prep (13-4).

Loyola 90, St. Francis 51: Emerson Castandea scored 16 points and Zack Gardea added 11 for the Golden Knights (9-12, 1-5 in league) in a Mission League contest on Saturday night.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Harvard-Westlake 67, Flintridge Sacred Heart 48: Lana Haddad led the Tologs (12-7, 1-2) with 18 points in Friday’s Mission League home loss, with Vanessa Romero adding 13 points and Olivia Warner scoring 12.
