CV girls cruise to win at Muir


Crescenta Valley 8, Muir 0: The Falcons kept hold of first place in the Pacific League with Tuesday's road win, improving to 10-3-4 overall and 8-0-3 in league.

Crescenta Valley, which earned a 6-0 win over Hoover on Friday, got two goals apiece from Whitley Boller and Jordan Royer. Dani Busta, Savannah Rhoads, Claudia Sepulveda and Bri Ismale scored one goal.

Pasadena 4, Hoover 0: The Tornadoes dropped to 4-8-2 overall and 1-7-2 in the Pacific League with Tuesday's road defeat.

Burroughs 4, Glendale 0: The Nitros fell to 1-7-3 in the Pacific League with a loss at home Tuesday.


Flintridge Prep 6, Rio Hondo Prep 2: David Russell finished with two goals and one assist and Jesse Redding added a pair of goals Tuesday to carry the visiting Rebels in a Prep League match.

Manny Perez and Roy Yu each scored one goal for Flintridge Prep (5-8-2, 2-3 in league). Yu also collected two assists.


Holy Family 57, Bishop Conaty-Loretto 23: The Gaels, who locked up second place in the Horizon League, got 17 points from Gayle Lachica and 16 from Elena Lomeli in Tuesday night's home win.

Gaby Diaz added 13 for Holy Family (7-11, 5-2 in league).

Burbank 32, Hoover 27: Kariz Alberto had 10 points, while Sharis Rostamian added nine points in the losing cause for the Tornadoes, who fell in Tuesday's Pacific League home game.

Hoover is now 2-17 overall and 0-11 in league.


Burbank 75, Hoover 42: The Tornadoes fell to 5-17 overall and 1-10 in the Pacific League with Tuesday's road loss.

Aden Ziraki had nine points for Hoover and Kyle Bernardo had eight.
