GIRLS’ GOLF

Crescenta Valley 211, Arcadia 212: Jocelyn Chia carded a one-under-par 36 on Monday to earn medalist honors in a nonleague match at Santa Anita Golf Course.

The Falcons (17-7-1) received a 41 from Audrey Chung and a 44 from Alice Yoon.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Holy Family 3, L.A. Sacred Heart of Jesus 0: The visiting Gaels picked up a 28-26, 25-23, 25-19 Horizon League road win Friday. The Gaels improved to 6-5, 1-1 in league.

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL

Glendale Community College 3, West L.A. College 0: The Vaqueros began Western State Conference action on the right note with a pair of victories. On Friday, Glendale posted a 25-14, 25-8, 25-6 win against West L.A. and improved to 7-8 overall.

The Vaqueros earned a 28-26, 25-15, 22-25, 18-25, 15-9 victory against Santa Monica City College on Wednesday, as Sara Kert collected 15 kills and three aces. Laila Souktani had 41 assists for Glendale, which received 29 digs from Racquel Valenzuela and five aces from Cami Martin.

MEN’S SOCCER

Moorpark College 3, Glendale Community College 1: The Vaqueros wrapped up the week Friday with a 3-1 Western State Conference loss.

Glendale started its week Tuesday with a 3-2 conference win against L.A. Mission College. The Vaqueros are 2-7-2, 1-2 in conference.

WOMEN’S SOCCER

Santa Monica City College 5, Glendale Community College 0: The Vaqueros fell Friday in a Western State Conference match. Glendale began the week Oct. 4 with a 9-0 conference loss to College of the Canyons. The Vaqueros dropped to 1-10 and 0-4 in conference.
