Falcons single out Burbank

GIRLS’ TENNIS

Crescenta Valley 12, Burbank 6: Emily Borkowski and Karen Ataian each swept their three singles sets without losing a game Thursday in a Pacific League home match. Crescenta Valley improved to 13-2, 9-2 in league.

Louisville 15, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 3: Emily Katz won a singles set, 6-0, for the Tologs in a Mission League match Thursday at Fremont Tennis Center. Flintridge Sacred Heart dropped to 3-6, 2-5 in league.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Crescenta Valley 3, Muir 0: Noel Wong recorded 13 aces and Allison Reik had 12 kills for the Falcons in a 25-10, 25-4, 25-14 Pacific League road match on Thursday.

Nanette Grigorian added 10 aces for Crescenta Valley, which improved to 7-6 and 6-5 in league.

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 3, Louisville 1: The host Tologs received 14 kills apiece from Katherine Rubschlager and Jessica Martin on Thursday in a 24-26, 25-22, 25-23, 25-22 Mission League match. Claire Mudie and Lauren Beeton each collected seven kills for Flintridge Sacred Heart (2-4 in league).

Burbank 3, Hoover 0: Lilit Chaparyan finished with five kills for host Hoover, which fell, 25-16, 25-14, 25-16, in a Pacific League match Thursday. Elizabeth Dardov and Shaina Barrett each had four kills for Hoover (2-10, 2-9 in league).

Rio Hondo Prep 3, Flintridge Prep 1: Katrina Boyd collected 24 digs for Flintridge Prep in a 25-22, 25-17, 24-26, 25-12 Prep League road defeat Thursday. Kate Woolley and Julia Miller finished with 13 and nine kills, respectively, for the Rebels (4-11, 1-8 in league).

BOYS’ WATER POLO

Crescenta Valley 11, Burroughs 7: Nate Fernandez scored four goals to lead the Falcons to a Pacific League road win on Thursday.

Jonny Malmrose and Antonio Camarillo each scored two goals for Crescenta Valley (8-15, 4-2).
