Weather halts CVFH game

Share

After a lightning storm delayed the start of its Western Regional game Sunday night in Arizona, the Crescenta Valley-Foothill Junior All-Stars took the field against host Thornydale of Arizona.

The teams didn’t get far, though, never making it out of the first inning before rain came down on an already soaked diamond to lead to the postponement of the game.

CVFH and Thornydale will now play Monday at 5 p.m. and the winner will play a to-be-determined opponent right after the game.

CVFH pitcher Jordan Lousararian gave up a double and struck out two in the top of the first before the game was called. Monday’s game will start over.
